Hey everyone! The Save Movement booth at VegFest seriously needs some volunteers to help out with the booth. Shifts are short, just a couple of hours long, and get you free entry to the VegFest. Please pm me if you are able to help out! Could use help with set up on Friday.

VegFest is coming up next weekend, Oct. 5 and 6. We could use some volunteers to help at our booth. Shifts are three hours long and get you free entry to the event. If you are interested in filling a shift, please add your first and last names to the time slot that works for you. Thanks so much!

Yesterday, as I was out bearing witness at a slaughterhouse, some of the trucks carrying cows bound for slaughter were stopped for several minutes, waiting for the gates to open. This girl and I locked eyes. Through teary eyes I told her I loved her. I told her I was sorry I couldn’t do more. I told her I was trying. I dreamed about her last night. In my dream she was happy and free. But she’s not. She is dead by now, her unused parts put down a chute to a trash bin. In a short time she could be on your dinner plate. Someday you might be wearing her skin. She was not a thing, she was somebody.
