Acadia Mountain Guides will be facilitating a Wilderness Advanced Life Support™ course to 📍Cornish, New Hampshire this July. A four-day advanced course designed for medical professionals who operate in remote and austere environments. WALS is where clinical expertise meets backcountry reality, and the instructors assembled for this one come together to deliver a well rounded perspective on Wilderness Medicine.

Jon Tierney — RN, Paramedic, FAWM, FP-C, WP-C, IFMGA Mountain Guide, former NPS climbing and backcountry ranger, and WMA Lead Instructor since the 1980s.

Evie Marcolini — Emergency and Neuro Critical Care Physician at Dartmouth-Hitchcock and former Outward Bound instructor.

Paul Marcolini — Paramedic, retired Flight Paramedic, and former climbing ranger and EMS coordinator at both Denali and Rainier.

Three instructors. Decades of combined experience at the intersection of medicine and mountain rescue.
