Future OTs in action! Students from Pacific University Occupational Therapy program spent time before Spring break learning about and adapting toys. Many students had their first soldering experience and did an excellent job. Thank you to the Student Occupational Therapy Association for donating the toys and equipment needed for the adaptation!

Families, it’s that time of year! You can sign up to receive a switch-adapted toy.

What is a switch-adapted toy? A switch-adapted toy is a toy that is adapted so that the small buttons that control the toy are re-routed to a universal port. You can plug a switch into the universal port that can be moved to wherever the child prefers. This may allow a child to more independently play with a toy.

• Light up yellow duck stuffed animal

• Card shuffler
• Dice roller
