Here’s a few little fine line tattoos that I’ve done recently, as well as some fun pictures of IRL bees and flowers that I’ve captured around the shop’s neighborhood ✨✨ I’ve noticed a lot of bees around lately and it’s made me super happy to see 🥹❤️

Fun Bee Fact : I looked it up recently and apparently bee population numbers are up considerably since 2010 thanks to human activism and intervention. According to an article in The Washington Post, commercial honeybee keeping added around one million new colonies to the bee population here in the United States in the last five or so years! How cool ☺️❤️🐝 I guess the wild bee population is still struggling a bit, but maybe there’s hope that they can be saved too by continuing to monitor, learn from, and support the commercial colonies! Have you noticed an increase in bee activity in your garden and/or neighborhood recently? ✨✨

I’ve been going back and forth on whether to share these illustrations in an official page post; especially since they have nothing to do with tattooing 🤷🏻‍♀️ I even considered creating a new account solely for my non-tattoo art projects, but then I remembered that I struggle managing this account alone 🙈🙊🙉 I’ve just never found a whole lot of joy in social media. That being said, I am trying to find a balance with it since it is pretty important for what I do for work, now more than ever. Recently I have been trying to condition myself to view posting to social media as a more creative and fun endeavor, rather than an obligatory, soul-sucking annoyance 😅 So far, so good! I’ve actually been having a lot of fun creating my more recent posts and reels over the last few weeks ✨✨

I have officially decided that I will start posting non-tattoo art things here! 🎨🎨
In addition to learning how to appreciate the creation process of social media content, I’m also working on unlearning people-pleasing and figuring out what it truly means to live for myself ✨✨ What better time for personal growth than right before turning 30? Honestly, I’ve avoided posting non-tattoo art here until now because I feared upsetting my small following with art that they couldn’t care less about and them unfollowing me as a result. However, with the current personal growth journey that I’m on I’ve learned that I shouldn’t care about “losing” followers who aren’t here for all of my art anyway. So enjoy, or don’t! I know the true homies — as well as myself — will gladly enjoy a little mixing it up from time to time 🤗❤️✨
