For episode 5, I will be curating a mix of my favorite songs dedicated to two jazz giants—Miles Davis, who would have turned 100 years old on May 26th, and Sonny Rollins, who peacefully passed on May 25th. In this set, I will be sharing music with you from my favorite period Miles, the early and first quintet period, and the smooth, hard, and improvisational playing of Sonny Rollin's hard bop era.
