There is a huge misunderstanding that DPC is just for your once or twice/year visits with your primary doctor. This is simply not true - we also see our patients for acute / urgent issues. My patient showed up at his appointment time, I personally met him out front and walked him back to my office. 25 minutes later the visit was done - vitals taken by me, history by me, exam by me, rapid strep test by me, prescription sent to pharmacy by me. I personally walked him out and he was headed home to rest. Tell me if there is anywhere in our current insurance driven system you can get healthcare like this?? Siatta Dunbar
