Sold. This piece was always one of my favorites. It took years and years to sell, even though it was one of my most loved paintings and highest grossing print sales, the original got carted around to show after show after show, always getting praise but never being chosen. I’m so happy it finally found a home with a wonderful paraglider pilot 💕

I want to explain another reason I’ve taken a break from art and everything I’ve built. The reason I’ve been absent is not only because I’ve been hard at work training for my commercial rating, but over the summer, my art career took another blow. Throughout my time as an artist and business owner my work has been vandalized, damaged, destroyed and now stolen. Despite the security system and cameras two pieces walked out the front door of a reputable high end hotel without anyone even noticing. How this situation was handled was horrible and extremely difficult. I fought hard for my rights for 5 months after the theft despite efforts to recover the work by local law enforcement. If you see either of these paintings or recognize the person in the photo, please report it to local authorities. It took me so long to come to terms with what happened and while I’m flattered, it was an exhausting half a year. While I don’t lay blame, the apathy I was met with was more than I could stomach and solidified my need of a career change. While I’ll continue to make art and sell, I’ll be focusing on my next chapter in aviation where I am valued and respected and on my way to being able to make real income.
