As of the start of 2023, NW Creatives is officially a 1% for the Planet® Business Member.
Over the past few years especially, we've realized how easy it is to take our beautiful natural spaces for granted — and how fragile they really are. Our local wedding industry greatly benefits from the abundance of natural beauty that surrounds us on all sides, but that abundance isn't guaranteed.
We decided it was time to commit a small part of our annual revenue (revenue, not profit) to help protect our beautiful planet.
1% for the Planet works to prevent greenwashing, certify reputable
giving, and provide accountability for environmental giving. Currently, only 3% of philanthropic giving goes to protect the environment. Our planet needs more support and the 1% for the Planet® network is on a mission to change that.
Vendor friends, if this is something you've ever thought about doing, we'd be happy to share our experience with starting our membership! It was really easy and now we wonder why we didn't join sooner.
All the winter vibes from last week's cozy, urban styled shoot w/ Luxe Event Productions (along with an army of vendors/partners). My last time touching a camera until 2019. Looking forward to a week of resting and spending time with my giant family. Merry Christmas!
