THANK YOU PORTLAND!

It has been 40 years since I started selling tacos on the streets of Portland on the corner of 4th & Morrison in a converted flower cart. It has been a great successful run all because of YOU and my tacos! I opened the first taqueria in the city of Portland Aug 4, 1986 and now the window for exiting the food scene in Portland has opened up for me. I am eternally grateful and appreciative to all who have come through and supported me.

Santa Fe Taqueria located at 831 NW 23rd Ave is closing its doors on Sept 30th. I am grateful to the hundreds and hundreds of employees who have worked for me these last 40 years and the millions of people who have come through the doors. Thank you Portland, please come and support Santa Fe Taqueria for this last month of operation and grab a taco with our award winning salsa and margaritas!
