Things that contribute to neck pain: new exercise routine or overdoing exercise, dysfunctional or insufficient sleep, too much screen time, lack of movement during the day, not eating enough, clenching jaws, allergies/asthma, unaddressed stress or emotional issues, not enough upper back and chest strengthening, and of course structural issues like a herniated disc or arthritis in the cervical spine…
