Tucson: Petro III Graphics, Steam Press, Gonzo International, Sylph Publishing, (2004). First edition, 1st printing. 8vo. 51 pp. Limited edition of 150 copies signed by the author and the illustrator, Ralph Steadman. However, this particular copy is not numbered deliberately, and according to the binder was 1-of-3 proof copies. Half black vinyl cloth over illustrated boards, spine title in a strip of black leather with gilding, text with illustrations by Ralph Steadman throughout. Complete, issued without a dust jacket. An unread, firm and stiff copy. Scarce. Especially so considering it’s “unnumbered” designation. Other proof copies were numbered “A/P”. A beautiful copy.

Hardcover: Fine

“An early and previously unpublished semi-autobiographical short story concerning a struggling writer living in Greenwich Village, which Thompson wrote when he was a struggling writer living in New York City.”
