Friends, it is only fitting that the last Lunchtime League should come down to the wire in a fashion unlike one we have ever seen.

1st place and 2nd place are now separated by 1 point. They both throw out the exact same score as their low score. They both have a handicap within 0.08 of each other.

Ian Blake leads Mat Owens 847 points to 846 points. Ian and Mat both drop a 49. Ian's handicap of 6.96 and Mat's handicap of 6.88 could be the determining factor.

And here's the kicker. If they tie in week 18, Mat will beat Ian for the week by 0.08 strokes. That is close enough that they could be separated in the week standings by 1 point with Matty getting the edge... leading to a tie after the finals.
