We had a great turnout for ‘Biryani Night’ yesterday and wowed all our guests by opening the sealed Biryani pot in their presence. The dining hall was filled with wonderful aromas and everyone was happy. Thank you Portland for your continued support and love.

Biryani Night! The dish - 300 years old - involves hours of slow braising goat (and jackfruit for vegetarians), and fist fulls of whole spices, rice, and saffron. It is widely beloved today and served with yogurt and a simple salad. We will make a veg version also.
