When in Bali, rent a scooter 🛵

Some could say that the one downside of Bali is that traffic can be horrendous, especially in South Bali, where most the tourist towns and hotspots are located. However, a great way to avoid the traffic, is by renting a scooter.

Seeing Bali by scooter with the wind in your hair can be the adventure of a lifetime and super fun way to see everything, BUT there are some rules you should follow if you are going to rent a scooter:

1️⃣Get an Internation Driver's Permit - It will minimize the cost of "tickets" from local law enforcement and it won't invalidate your travel insurance should you get into an accident.

2️⃣Travel Insurance is Non-Negotiable - Accidents with other scooters can be common especially in Bali, and having travel insurance will give you peace of mind.

3️⃣ALWAYS wear a helmet

4️⃣Don't drink and ride (duh!)

5️⃣Accidents will mostly always be the foreigners fault

Bottomline, be smart, know yourself and your abilities.

"When I Follow My Heart, I Wake Up in Bali"

No I didn't write that, but somehow it perfectly encompasses how I feel. When I close my eyes and think of the perfect place, it's always Bali. It’s everywhere I want to go.

FOR YEARS, I have poured over every little scrap of information that I possibly could about Bali. Yes, I read "Eat Pray Love" too, but that is beside the point. Bali in inself is a whole experience: a destination that is and will always be beautiful inside and out.

From the mountainous landscape and the vast blue seas, to it's charming people, vibrant culture, and exquisite food. This is a sacred place for healing, love and happiness.

Over the next couple of weeks, I will be sharing with you everything I know about Bali and providing you with a virtual journey through this gorgeous destination. My hope is to inspire you to take your own journey to Bali and allow youself an experience that will continue to remain rich in your mind for a lifetime.

If you are interested in working with me to plan your next romantic trip, please email or DM me. I would be happy to schedule a complimentary consulation and get to planning your next adventure.

Hi there friend! I'm Sami and if you new to my page here's a quick snapshot of me. 💁🏼‍♀️

Basically, I am a travel-obsessed millennial who loves travel research and planning SO MUCH that I started my own business as a romance travel specialist, and I help other millennial clients experience romantic honeymoons and vacations that suit their personal travel style. 💕

A few fun and random things about me are:

I was born in Hawaii, and truly feel at home every time I visit.🌺

My sport of choice is golf. I'm great at it and I love it, but more importantly I can beat the boys at it which is way more satisfying. 🏌🏻‍♀️

I love making fun and exotic cocktails from the places I have visited. Right now, I am on a New Orleans' cocktail kick. French 75 anyone? 🥂

I have a French Bulldog named Hattie May, who I love so much and is my child🐶.

I have Iceland, Bali, Vietnam and Tanzania on my bucket list of place I hope to travel to. 🌏

Now tell me something fun about you!

🎭 Bourbon Street 🎭

Noisy, raucous, and nocturnal, but when the rain has just fallen Bourbon Street glows and it is so beautiful.

Originally laid out in 1721, the street stretches 13 blocks and full of rich history with iconic jazz clubs, bars and old buildings.

But beyond “go cups” and neon lights, Bourbon Street is considered the heart of the French Quarter. It’s here that you will always find a party any day of the week, and at almost any time.

Drink Absinthe at the Old Absinthe House. Eat French Creole food at Galatoire’s, one
of the oldest restaurants in New Orleans. Listen to Jazz at Preservation Hall, or Fritzel’s. Step into Pat O’Brien’s for the iconic Hurricane. Sing karaoke at the Cat’s Meow. Hang out on Bourbon’s famous balconies and listen to the noise of the streets. Whatever your vice, Bourbon Street provides.

Is Bourbon Street calling your name? DM today and let’s plan your next trip to New Orleans.
