I'm looking to hire an Assistant Magic Maker to join my growing Wedding and Event Coordination company, Jaime Ta Creative for 2022 and 2023 events

This position would be perfect for someone who:
- believes love is love and actively is learning and seeking to uplift marginalized communities
- enjoys people and being active/on your feet
- is reliable, detail-oriented and a problem solver
Pay: Starts at $23/hour + up, depending on experience

Availability: Must have weekend availability, dependable transportation and willing to travel within Oregon.
Gas would be compensated for travel 30 miles outside of Portland.

When you click on the ‘Contact’ page of my website, I’ve worked to make my wedding language more inclusive of all love by having a pronouns section & being careful to not assume that everyone is a bride 🌈

I’ll be first to say, I still have work to do and invite you to reflect on your everyday language. Is it inclusive? Can you do something to make another person feel included and seen?

Your invitation suite is the first impression that your guests receive for what’s in store on your wedding day, so I always encourage to make sure that your style + aesthetic is accurately depicted in what you design/choose! 🌷

Whether it’s simple, modern, classic, over-the-top, black + white, colorful, etc., be sure that it’s true to you, your love, and your very special day. 💌

Sometimes I get asked if I want to transition into Event Coordination full time and to be honest...I don’t want to, at this point in time 😬

Let’s be clear, every wedding or event
that I get to be a part of is a privilege and an absolute honor. ☺️ That is why I only take a limited number of weddings each year.

It is also something that I do because being creative engages a different part of my soul, in ways that Speech Therapy doesn’t. 🌼

But, here’s the beautiful thing about Speech Therapy. Seeing my spunky middle school students learn to advocate for themselves, communicate their needs and make friends...things that can be really difficult, if you have Autism, or other learning disabilities. Being part of THAT is too special to give up. 🦋

Anyways, long story short...distance learning has its share of challenges, but the little things like having students find ways to create friendships even online, is a definite silver lining. 🥰
