Do tattoos need touch ups?

It depends. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t.

If you’re questioning whether or not it should be touched up, just shoot me a photo and i’ll let you know.

My preference however, is to wait six months until after that tattoo has settled into the lowest layer of the dermis, and from then we can identify if we need to saturate any of the pigments more, or maybe we just didn’t get all that line work in as solid as we wanted it.

It’s not a big deal. If you need a touch up, i’m happy to offer it.
And honestly, i want your tattoo to look the best it can, so i would much rather do a touch up than not at all.

It can be daunting to find ideas, or even know where to begin when deciding on what to get tattooed.

That’s why it’s helpful to find a place to help organize all those thoughts!

Im a sucker for a good Pinterest board📍

If your not a fan, dont sweat it, a Google Drive album or Dropbox file is great too!

Regardless, I feel that this is such a crucial step in creating a visual gallery that will help to inform and inspire new tattoos!

✨ The Fools Journey Begins ✨

✨It was a huge honor to be able to tattoo the first card in the Major Arcana of the classic Rider-Waite tarot deck.

The Fool symbolizes new beginnings, joy and innocence.
🧿 Swipe to slide 4 ——> This is the type of energy im talking about, and Ash is ALL about it 😂

The innocence, and purity of an individual embarking upon a new journey, a new pathway, a new chapter within their lives, signals the open-minded aspects of the fool.

By only looking forward in utter awe of the potential that they are about to set out upon, the archetype can also become unaware of what’s in the periphery.

It is important to recognize, when we are in this chapter, that we do our best to look for the silent notes we are missing upon the way.

Always do your best when you're in a state of expansion outward, to also look inward.

What is missing?
What will we find in our soul that can carry us through?
How can we better guide ourselves on the pathway that we have not yet trodden?

✨ Make sure you never lose track of the path

Thank you for your trust and the sheer amount of fun we tend to have while tattooing and working together!! 🙏🫶 Can’t wait till our next session!

✍️ Four things you should absolutely avoid before your next tattoo appointment:

1. Do not come in intoxicated - if you have alcohol on you, I promise you I will know. I used to tend bar, I can absolutely smell it on ya! These things I know!

2. Do not come in dehydrated - if you’re dehydrated, chances are you might just pass out. I do not want you passing out. I want you to stay with me, please! I care about you!

3. Do not come in on an empty stomach - if you come in like that, chances are, again, you may pass out, and I really don’t want to be your nurse. Please don’t make me do that! I will because I care and I want you to be safe and happy, but don’t make me do that if you can! Avoid it! Eat! Nourish yourself!

4. Do not pull an all-nighter. You need to not only rest but you need to be alive and well for our session. Your health must be all the way up to par!

✨ This whole list is about taking care of yourself before your tattoo appointment. I promise you it’ll go a long way, because again, these things I know! Trust me. 😉
