February Meeting: Orchid Deflasking Workshop

The most common way to grow orchids from seed in cultivation is through the process of deflasking. Orchid seeds are germinated in a nutrient-rich, sterile environment and transferred to your preferred growing set-up. Join us to learn how this is done & try your own hand at it! Free plants!

Theresa Hill is a founder of local Hillsview Gardens, specializing in hybridization of Paphiopedilum. We are excited to hear about these amazing plants & all the amazing work she has done.

Also, don’t miss the rare Cattleya plant sale at our October meeting! Tyler Boddy (.orchids) is bringing an entire table packed with rare Cattleya species, primary hybrids, awarded divisions, and hard-to-find imports — many of which you won’t see for sale again anytime soon.
