Health Care for All Oregon
Congrats to Christine Drazen and Tina Kotek on your successful primaries.
The question really isn’t “what do you think about Oregon’s transition to universal healthcare”, but rather “why will you choose to support it?”
As governor of Oregon, will you support our state’s right to take care of our residents?
As governor of Oregon, will you choose a pathway with obvious cost savings, as seen when we compare our broken healthcare system to less expensive ones around the world?
Will you advocate for a universal healthcare system because of the better health outcomes?
Will you advocate for universal healthcare because it is obviously the morally right thing to do?
Or will you advocate for universal healthcare because that’s what Jesus would have wanted, and what the pope himself believes is a necessity?
Christine and Tina, as Governor or Oregon, how will you ensure that every resident of Oregon receives the care they deserve, which is universal, single player healthcare?
How will you ensure that we fulfill our constitutional obligation of the Right to Healthcare Amendment?
How will you justify that, as governor, you and your family receive the highest tier of PEBB benefits, but your constituents do not?
HCAO can never endorse a candidate.

Today at 3pm in Bend!
You might have missed last night‘s Townhall in Hillsboro, but there are five more opportunities around the state for you to join the conversation with members of the Universal Health Plan Governance Board.
Last night at the Hillsboro Civic Center, the Washington County Chapter of HCAO hosted a conversation with three of the members of the governance board.
This board is tasked with delivering a transition plan for how our state can move to a universal healthcare plan for every resident.
After presentations from both organizations, we opened up the floor for a Q & A from the audience.
This topic is confusing, and brings together two areas which everybody has an opinion about: healthcare, and government.
Join Health Care for All Oregon and members of the Universal Health Olan Governance Board at one of the next five town halls around the state in the next two weeks.
