A promotion like this is never earned alone. On Wednesday night, we celebrated Serge‘s promotion to Nikyu, 2nd degree Brown belt. This milestone reflects his dedication, resilience, and the countless hours he spent training, teaching, and supporting others on the mat. Serge’s journey is a reminder that growth in Danzan Ryu is built through community, through instructors who guide us, training, partners who challenges, and a dojo Ohana that grows stronger together.
