Portland Table Tennis Club

The 1st VA Adaptive Table Tennis Exhibition was held at the PVAMC Vancouver Campus fitness center yesterday. Twelve Veterans attended as well as four coaches from the Portland Table Tennis Club who assisted with the event.

“It was an absolute honor and privilege to share the sport of table tennis with the Veterans today. I could tell that many had played before and were eager to show their skills,” said Sean O’Neil, Paralympic Games Head Coach.

Thank you to Recreational Therapists Kiersten Smith and Gerri Hendricks of PVAMC for making the event possible through the 2014 VA Table Tennis Program.

Thank you also to the Portland Table Tennis Club who provided the tables along with coaches Randall Craig, Jim Hermann and Alex Dimitrova.
