This week’s Sharecast is here! CSA members can expect lettuce, cabbage, fennel, parsley, Red Tropea onions, and summer squash this Thursday, with the possibility of chard, celery, and mint as well.
Fun fact: cabbage is the great, great, great grandparent of every brassica we grow. Broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, mustards, radishes, turnips, arugula, all of them trace back to wild cabbage. People have been eating it for over 3,000 years, and we’re guessing you’ll find plenty of reasons to keep the tradition going.

Yes, it's going to be warm, but the farm stays fairly cool. We've been setting up all day and the shade and breeze make for a comfortable morning. We have plenty to keep you hydrated, including free coffee and tea from Stumptown Coffee Roasters and Smith Teamaker.
