19th Annual Ray Warren Symposium on Race and Ethnic Studies
Art of Storytelling November 9–11, 2022. Join us for three days of keynote presentations, panels, workshops, and other events examining the practices, purposes, and impacts of storytelling for BIPOC individuals and communities.

For this year’s art exhibit, we seek work that engages either specifically with this year’s theme of Joy & Justice or more generally with race and ethnicity. The exhibit will include a virtual gallery and some physical installations on campus. Hi Ethnic Studies friends,
Are you interested in being a co-chair for the Ray Warren Symposium? Applications are now being accepted. If you are interested in being considered for one of the positions, please contact our faculty director, Kim Brodkin at [email protected].
Applications should be submitted by Friday, January 29 at 5 pm.
Students must have junior or senior standing in fall 2021 to be eligible for a co-chair position. Prior experience on the RWS planning committee is not a requirement, nor is a minor in Ethnic Studies, but preference will be given to students with relevant academic experience and/or organizational work. Co-chairs will receive 4 credits for ETHS 345 in fall 2021.
