It all happened soo suddenly. Our 1 year old Mainecoon Zeus stopped eatting Thursday. We took him to Heart and soul they gave us something to stimulate his appetite and nausea control. We were hopfull. After a whole day passed and wasn't showing any results we were worried. 4am Friday morning after being awake all night and worried sick we headed down to Dove Lewis in Downtown Portland. They did an xray. The results were a build up of gas and a huge blockage. He had eaten a large piece of my interlocking excersize mat that literally created a plug. Poor baby needed surgery. I have to be honest I was scared when they said 7k to complete the process we started. We tapped out Clear Care at 3k. But it wasn't enough. We are a retired couple with alot of side hustles. VozeeleatherandDye, I am also a seamstress and jeff does side carpentry work. We didn't have it. OMG "How what" it was urgent at this point or he would die. Thank God for my 32 year old son Wyatt Anderson. He was able to lend us the money. Were not asking alot but another 1k would be soo helpful. Anything will help. I am happy to say his surgery was completed and he is back home recovering. Zeus is resting and has BUprenorphine and Gabapentin for anxiety and pain. I can't keep him away from food now. The Big black paw is back. So glad to have my bottomless pit back. Thank you to everyone who has donated at this point!! We are Sooooo Grateful 🫶
