Hey everyone! Welcome back to another week of Portland’s Living Landmarks! This week we have some fun White Oaks, one can be found in Evergreen and the second in Deering Oaks park.
Also, the volunteer tree planting happening in Evergreen was rained out and will now be happening on the rain date May 13th from 4-6pm.
Welcome to another week of Portland’s Living Landmarks! 🌲 This week we have two large Sugar Maples found in Evergreen Cemetery!
We also have an exciting volunteer day happening in Evergreen on May 6th from 4-6 pm! We will be planting some new trees as a part of a multi-year effort to plant 80 new trees in the cemetery. This initiative is made possible thanks to a generous gift in memory of Val Healey, who cherished the grounds of Evergreen Cemetery.
All ages and experience are welcome and supplies will be provided! Please let us know if you will be joining us by filling out the form linked below!
