Katie joins 3/Thirds as our newest Account Director, bringing more than 20 years of client service wizardry to the team. She’s an agency pro, with deep experience supporting internal creative teams and clients that include HP, The Oregon Zoo, Bob’s Red Mill, Oregon Health Authority, Columbia Bank, and Cascade AIDS Project.

When she’s not navigating the tricky waters of account leadership, she most likely telling you about her teenage son’s latest performance on stage or victory on the soccer field. And when she’s not doing that, she’s hanging out with donkeys. Yes, donkeys.

Well, folks…after working with Ben Peterson as a freelancer for a couple of years, we decided to put a ring on it and bring him in full-time. We’re happy to announce he’s our new Head of Writing, and SWIPE to see how he brings a heck of a lot to the table.

Beyond his deep experience in strategic communications, Ben has some pretty amazing instincts about how to put people in positions to succeed. He’s a natural at this, but he’s also put in the work—first as an agency owner and then as the leader of a large staffing agency’s writing division. We are so excited about everything that Ben brings to the team. Join us in giving him a hearty welcome!

Why 3/Thirds? We get asked that from time to time, and we always have an answer. It’s about the magic that comes together when our clients, their stories, and their audiences all get on the same page. Its about a whole that’s greater than the sum of its parts. It’s about the rule of 3s and the launching point of all great design. It’s a big open idea with a lot of room for interpretation.
