Shaking The Tree Theatre

Our third residency for the summer is Sirens by Joellen Sweeney, running August 20th - 22nd at 7:30pm.

A love song beckons us below the surface. A warning throbs along the shore. The Priestess weaves and calls the waves in, one by one by one.  

SIRENS, a new choral-theatrical work by Joellen Sweeney, evokes the sensuous life and precipitous loss of global coral reef ecosystems. Woven from harmony and memory, SIRENS offers a space to grieve ecological losses and to practice how to love without possessing.

Whether you’re longing to direct and don’t know where to start, OR you used to direct and need to shake off the dust a little before getting back in, Shaking the Tree is offering Fundamentals of Directing, led by Matthew B. Zrebski. Perfect for all levels. Enrollment is $135 for all three classes.
