Jewish Oasis

This Purim, 75+ seniors across Portland heard the Megillah and celebrated the mitzvot of Purim through the initiative of Chabad Southwest Portland, with the assistance of Jewish Oasis.

Rabbinical students visited seven senior centers across Portland and made multiple personal visits to the homebound.

Senior centers visited included Raleigh Hills Assisted Living, Cedar Sinai Park, Rose Schnitzer Manor, Robison Jewish Health Center, West Hills Assisted Living, Alpine House Senior Care, The Watermark, and Terwilliger Plaza.

Together they were able to reach seniors who otherwise would not have been able to hear the Megillah.
