We’re excited to share that Maine’s Seaweed Moment is an Official Selection of the Wild & Scenic Film Festival! 🌊 🎥

Presented by World Wildlife Fund, the short doc offers a deep dive into the lives of seaweed farmers Nathan and Natalie Johnson and demonstrates how farmed seaweed can revitalize Maine’s working coastline, improve local ocean habitats, and diversify its economy. The film examines the qualities that make seaweed a conservation solution and a valuable product, and how expanding farmed seaweed markets can help address local and widespread challenges.

We were honored to work with the World Wildlife Fund for this project, and grateful to be able to share this story with the Wild and Scenic audience.
