Gemstone Tattoo

I am doing a fundraiser for the month of September. You can preorder this archival 8x10 print, THE LIGHT OF LOVE all month. I first met Masuma Sayed while she was a server at Saigon Vietnamese Restaurant In Portland. We connected over our pierced noses, ad her light and kindness were so bright. When she told me she was from Afghanistan, there was this moment of knowing, a silent flash of pain and deep trauma. But she changed the subject and went about her job. As Afghanistan fell, she came to mind immediately. Recently featured in The Press Herald, I was heartened and heartbroken to read her story. I contacted the author of the article, Kelley Bouchard, and she got me in contact with Masuma. We have talked, and she has given her blessing for this fundraiser. ALL PROCEEDS will be donated to her and her family’s efforts to save those who are still in Afghanistan. I’m a women, a former food employee, and I have felt so angry and sad and crushed by the news of the world. Help me make a difference for a wonderful woman. Link in comments to purchase!
