Monday June 15th ♥️ See you at Pride!

We wanted to check in and apologize for the back to back unexpected closures yesterday, and today!

A couple staff emergencies snuck up on us during an already busy month. Everyone is ok and these two days have given us the opportunity to plan for an exciting week!

This Thursday, June 18, we will be open 11-6pm, and at 7pm you’ll find us at the Prismatic Ball! We are overjoyed to be at the Prismatic Ball out on by Prismatic Productions and Aquarius Funkk ♥️ We will vend at Mechanics' Hall starting around 7pm until late. Aquarius and community have been a light in Portland, and we are honored to attend this ballroom!

Saturday, June 20, we will be tabling at the Pride Portland! festival in Deering Oaks park! Once finalized, we will share a map of our table location so you can find us and some special goodies 😉

HIV is manageable!

With today’s treatments, people living with HIV can live long, healthy lives ♥️

Frannie Peabody Center has been working around the clock to ensure Maine’s community has access to FREE and accessible resources like the Self-Test HIV kits.

Thanks to the team at the center, Nomia Boutique (located on Exchange street downtown Portland) now carries these free kits. Anyone can come to the counter and ask for a kit, or pull one of the discreet tabs located at the community board and pass it along to staff. The kit is pre-packaged in a discreet bag for your privacy.

Kits and additional testing, as well as other resources, can be accessed at Frannie Peabody Center (30 Danforth St, Portland). Kits are also available at other organizations within Southern Maine.
