Shelves are in. Boxes are slowly but surely getting put away in the new space. Feeling like I need a full-blown 2 week vacation but we press on. Hope you dig this one… it’s a bit more “normal” and a bit less weird that the last few weeks of Old Fashioneds 🥃

1½ oz Bourbon
¼ oz Orange liqueur
1 teaspoon Demerara syrup
4-5 dashes Root Beer bitters
Orange twist

Combine ingredients and stir with ice. Strain over a large cube 🧊 Garnish with orange zest.

Still grabbing bottles out of random boxes 📦 BUT the shelves are up and the new studio is looking more and more like a proper Bat Cave.

2 oz Oaxacan Rum
¼ oz Homemade Orgeat
4 dashes Caradmom bitters
Lime twist

Combine ingredients and stir with ice. Strain over a clear sphere ⚪️ Garish with lime zest.

It’s the end of an era (for me anyway). It won’t affect much for you… I’m not actually “ending” anything. But leaving this studio after nearly 4 years feels like a pretty massive change for me. So excuse me while I go cry in the corner with a bottle of Mezcal.
