🔮⛰️ The New Age Volume 1 by local cartoonist Morgan Hickman is the first installment of a sweeping fantasy series about a world without magic and the dread-filled dreams of a peculiar girl. The world of Goa awaits. Come on by the store and join the adventure!

🐸⚔️ Here’s a sample (no spoilers, I promise): Several generations ago humans lost the gift of magic. Now, the world is afflicted by war, famine, and the domination of a powerful empire. As hope in a better world wanes, a girl with uncanny abilities is born to a remote tribe. Nala, along with her protector Lyoto, sets off into this new world to discover if she’s the only one, and to make sure her powers don’t fall into the wrong hands.

💚 Hickman’s cartooning style makes incredible use of dynamic body language. There’s so much movement across the page! Plus, the world map is rad!
