Here I was last night, casually accounting my yarn stash, when the combination jumped out at me and demanded that I start this pattern. I knit until the wee hours, and back at it this morning after I woke up. I really do have work to do, and even the cat is wondering when I’ll be doing something else.
Pattern is Pressed Fowers Kerchief Mosaic Bandana by Amy Christoffers.
Yarn is Salty Dog by Spincycle Yarns and That Orange by Sandnes Garn.

Japan! We have a couple more days here, but what an experience it’s been! Trains, walking, look up, look down, the luck of seeing Junko Oki’s gallery show in person, an insider tip from Lindsey, for which I will always be grateful, replica food, the most beautiful trees, and, of course, cats! I’ll be home soon, but in the meantime, a little peek at what ive been up to.
