Ó Lionáird's delight with first title and Euro place - Independent.ie As he crossed the finish-line after winning his first Irish senior track title, Ciarán Ó Lionáird ripped the number off his vest and screamed at the sky.

Excited to be in charge of the Medical at PTF again this year. Already some big names coming - Mo Farah, Andrew Weating, Katie Mackey, Kate Grace, Garrett Heath, Ryan Vail, Jordan Hasay and some of the Schumacher crew.
Always such an amazing event. Come out and watch/meet some of the best track athletes in the US and World.

In this day and age where elite athletes only show up for contractual reasons or appearance fees it was pretty amazing to get the biggest name in distance running Mo Farah (double Olympic Gold Medalist in London, and 5 of the last 6 World/Olympic titles) to drop by and send Glencoe High Cross team off to State (first state qualifier for the school). I wish more of these elite athletes would take the time to promote the sport and inspire our younger generation.
