All Star Labor and Staffing is seeking a Skilled Mechanic Technician specializing in Auto Body Repair to support operations for a Autobody Shop Company in the Vancouver and Portland area.

Pay: $35/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible between 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

-Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment
-Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, pumps, motors, and conveyors
-Read blueprints, schematics, and manuals
-Install, align, and adjust mechanical components
-Identify faulty parts and recommend repairs
-Use precision measuring tools
-Follow safety procedures (LOTO) and document maintenance work
-Assist junior technicians and work with maintenance and engineering teams

Requirements:

-High school diploma or GED (trade/technical school preferred)
-3–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience
-Strong knowledge of bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics
-Skilled with hand and power tools
-Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred:

-Technical certification or associate degree
-Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience
-Welding, fabrication, or CMMS experience

Physical Requirements:
-Lift up to 50 lbs; ability to stand, bend, climb, and work in tight spaces
-Overtime or on-call work may be required

-Inspect, evaluate, and document property damage
-Perform water restoration, mold remediation, and fire damage cleanup
-Demo, framing, siding, roofing, drywall, and finish carpentry
-Maintain and clean restoration equipment
-Provide excellent customer service and clear communication
-Work safely, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills & Experience:

-Background in fire/water/mold remediation and structural drying
-Construction skills: siding/trim, framing, roofing, decks, windows/doors, finish carpentry
-Knowledge of building codes & standards
-Strong communication and computer skills
-Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, able to lift up to 100 lbs
-Trade/technical school training a plus

We are actively seeking a self-motivated, responsible, and detail-oriented individual who will work within the Portland Metro/Vancouver area.

Responsibilities:

•Inspect, evaluate, and document damaged properties.
•Proficient in water restoration, mold remediation, and fire damage cleanup.
•Professionally represent Summit Reconstruction and our core values.
•Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are completed in a timely manner.
•Strong demo, framing, siding, and roofing skills are needed along with drywall installation and finish carpentry.
•Follow established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
•Maintain all company restoration and cleaning equipment, keeping them clean and properly always maintained.
•Communicate with customers and always ensure high customer service. Ability to communicate effectively with your supervisor and peers as well.
•Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
Preference for candidates with background in: fire damage, water damage, mold remediation, structural drying, and other types of remediation services.

Additional Skills and Experience:

•Preferred construction experience in the following areas: Siding and trim replacement, mold remediation, window & door installation, decks, framing, roofing, basic finish carpentry, & working knowledge of building codes and standards.
•Motivated, responsible, customer service driven.
•A "Can Do" attitude!
•Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
•Ability to lift and or move up to 100lbs.
•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Computer savvy.
•Completing of technical or trade school courses in construction, water or fire mitigation, or related field a plus.
