Many of you know we are artists that gather old stuff to make something. For over 5 years we have wanted to make garden shrine structures. We have had some beautiful weather the past couple weeks and decided to make it happen.
We pulled out a pile of reclaimed wood. Dug around in storage to find salvaged parts and pieces we had schlepped home. And got to work.
I pull the pieces I think will jive together. He generally agrees, but sometimes has a much better idea.
We had a fab time creating them. At the end of each day last week, he told me, “I had a really fun day working with you.” I smiled as I knew we were in sync on this project.
