Disk Rot is the new bootleg sub-label from Refuse Films, created to showcase shot-on-video movies, underground obscurities, and physical media premieres in an exclusive run of 666 copies.
Refuse Films decided it was time to pull these low-budget titles out of the streaming apocalypse and to cement their legacy on physical media through their bootleg offshoot Disk Rot.
Films made to disturb the comfortable and comfort the disturbed, curated and limited for a tasteless audience, and are not for general consumption.

We are UDDERLY FLABBERGASTED to announce that FLAPJAX will be headed to as a part of their Fan Pitch program!
As many of you know, our horror comedy sci-fi epic is a little over half-way shot. Our journey this October will be to connect with potential production partners who could work with us to bring FLAPJAX to completion and distribution. We could not be more thrilled at the opportunity, and can't wait to see what comes of our time at Sitges... Let's get cookin! 🥞

Summer Camp was LIT ⛺️🔥
What an exciting adventure it was for Bad Taste Video to embark on its very first international co-production. The latest feature from was shot over ten days right here in NYC. While half our crew spoke English and the other Japanese, we were all fluent in the language of CINEMA! 🎞️🎥
This production was truly fueled by our collective love of making art, and while it did not come without its challanges, we wrapped this beautiful little film undoubtedly triumphant!
A HUGE shout-out to the incredible band of misfits that made-up this iteration of the Bad Taste Video Team; here's to many more films in Bad Taste and good times to come. 💕🏆🎬

Variety gave us a glowing review for THE GESUIDOUZ! Thank you to everyone at TIFF who welcomed our team. Such an exciting and inspiring experience 🌈⭐️💕
‘The Gesuidouz’ Review: A Japanese Punk Band Finds Its Voice in a Sardonic Genre Comedy Kenichi Ugana's deadpan, horror-themed comedy 'The Gesuidouz' is hyper-specific in its approach to universal ennui.
