I had a wonderful birthday celebration. I was at one of my favorite dive spots, Solitude Resort in Lembeh Strait, Sulawesi. The staff baked a cake for my birthday. Additionally, as we checked out today, 7/4, they wanted to make sure that Jim had a great birthday too. They presented him with a box of chocolate cake bites and a note on a chocolate bar that read “Happy Almost Birthday, Jim,” as they were aware that we would be traveling on 7/5. Unfortunately, we consumed the treats too quickly to take a photo. The trip has been fantastic so mfar. It’s not over yet, as we have a stop in Bali, a layover in Taipei for some sightseeing, and a brief stop in NYC before returning home. 🥳
