Here is a walkthrough of a current FIN project on NE Alberta St, The Junipero Building.
The project includes a complete renovation of the existing building that was once the home of Bernie’s Southern Bistro (and a much earlier iteration of Chez Wha?). We are also constructing a new, two-level building of the same size as the existing structure, directly adjacent. We are visually unifying them via an organic mix of vertical juniper siding and dark fiber-cement panels - with its sweeping, wide-open lower-level storefronts; it will be a genuinely tasteful addition to one of Portland’s most fantastic neighborhoods.
We are humbled to be partnered on this project with such remarkable design and ownership teams who are willing to invest meaningfully in the neighborhood through thoughtful design, prioritizing renewables, and opting to improve the infrastructure surrounding the property at every opportunity.

We are also including a new building directly adjacent to the existing building and visually tying them together to look unified.
This has been a fantastic project with amazing design and ownership teams willing to invest meaningfully in the neighborhood through thoughtful design and making renewable energy a priority. The fact that this building will be listed as salmon-safe is just one aspect of the building owner’s commitment to responsible improvements and investing in our collective community.
