What are Straumann® PURE Ceramic Implants?

The Straumann® PURE Ceramic Implant is part of the Straumann implant line. It is made from a metal-free zirconia ceramic, an alternative to titanium implant components. These implants are white in color and offer patients who may be sensitive to metals or who would just prefer to be metal-free an option for their implant therapy. Strength, biocompatibility, and esthetics make this a great choice for implant cases.

The features of Straumann® Pure Ceramic Implants include:

Made from 100% yttria-stabilized zirconia (Y-TZP)
Comes in both a tissue level monotype design or a tissue level two-piece design
The surface is treated with Straumann ZLA topography
Natural white color
The internal connection of the implant fixture coupled with the implant abutment provides excellent esthetics.
The machined neck is 1/8mm
