Grown at 1750 meters in the volcanic soils of Burundi's Ngozi Province, this fully washed coffee is the direct result of incredible community effort. The women of Turihamwe pooled their savings to physically build their own independent wet mill, meaning they call the shots on how their coffee is processed from start to finish. This gives them total control over the quality and stability of every harvest. Because the plant grows at such a high elevation, the fruit matures and dries slowly in the cool air, creating a juicy and complex cup.

We're honored to share our space with the young artists of this month.

All of Us is a collection created by p:ear youth, volunteers, and staff — rooted in community, resilience, and the kind of connection that only comes from making something together.

p:ear is a refuge for homeless and transitional youth ages 15–25 in Portland, and this work reflects exactly what they stand for: showing up for one another through hardship and joy alike.

Come in for your coffee and stay a while with the art. On view at Guilder Alameda through the end of July.

Hearty, herby, and full of flavor. Our new salads and kabobs at Alameda are inspired by Laila's Persian roots and handcrafted with care.

Persian Caesar Salad (v+, gf): Tahini Caesar-dressed kale and radicchio salad, with herbs, crispy chickpeas, green olives, savory dukkah seasoning, on a bed of hummus

Joojeh Chicken Kabob and Zhoug (gf): Saffron and yogurt-marinated chicken kabob with zhoug sauce and a small salad

Pair with a glass of wine or one of our housemade cocktails for the full experience.
