Jigsaw Records

Here's the flyer (courtesy of !) for our second show back, happening this Sunday night! On tour with .wdc & , Franklin Bruno (.and.credit) has decided to spend his extra night in Portland playing at our li'l shop and we couldn't be happier! Oh wait, we could... because also appearing are the delightful (ex-Honeybunch/Boy Crazy/etc, and playing their first show in nearly a year!) and .band (yeah, I know they just played here last week, but they're friends and one of my favorite local bands, so why would I refuse?).

Doors are at 7pm (but we'll be open the whole time, so come whenever you want!) and music will start promptly at 8pm - and it's ALL AGES, as always!

I just added a couple dozen new titles to the shop in the last couple days; I didn't want to overwhelm your feed with pics of all of 'em, so here are a select five for you... Here, you can see the gorgeous reissue of the first Pernice Brothers album (in a hardcover book w/bonus lp of singles/demos!) on New West Records, the newest release on Domestic Departure (a rad 7" from Richmond's Added Dimensions), the fun second cd/lp from VIAL on Get Better Records, an amazing reissue of the 1982 10" (now a 12") from Twelve Cubic Feet on Sealed Records, and the second volume of the brilliant "Under The Bridge" cd/lp on Skep Wax Records, which collects new songs from ex-Sarah Records bands & their respective off-shoots! All of these are recommended, of course, and available now on the Jigsaw site and in the My Vinyl Underground shop!

So I've just learned that someone has scraped my entire Shopify website and created a new site at jigsaw-records -dot- shop (not linking to it, for obvious reasons). If you happen to stumble upon that site, DO NOT SHOP THERE AS IT IS 100% FAKE! I mean, its horrible copy, lack of a logo/design and the fact that everything is half price should also be a clue to its deceitfulness...

I see that it's on Wordpress (using Woocommerce), so I have to figure out how to report this site and get it shut down, as I've gotten a couple emails from very confused attempted customers, but does anyone have any advice as to what I could do to take it down? Shopify is of no help, since it's not using their platform, and I doubt Woocommerce can do anything either, since that's essentially just a plugin; who can I even contact that could be helpful? And then there's the whole issue of deranking it on Google, etc... Anyone have any useful ideas/advice?

Yeah, so a LOT of amazing records have come (and, in some cases, gone) through the shop since we last posted here, but as bad as I am about updating the socials, I knew that I just HAD to tell you about our newest release. We've combined forces with our good friends at Lost & Lonesome Recording Co. to release a truly special 7" pairing two equally classic indiepop bands dear to our hearts: Rocketship and the Cat's Miaow! It's the first in a brief series of split 7"s to be released in the coming months to celebrate both Lost & Lonesome's 25th anniversary and Jigsaw's 200th release (okay, so maybe we're cheating a little by expanding the PZL200 catalog number to include 'em all, but whatever!). Anyways, it's fabulous, super-limited and on sale NOW, so grab one while you can!
