Client: Catapult Film Fund provides developmental funding to documentary filmmakers—enabling them to take their film projects to the next level at a time when funding is hard to find. Catapult supports powerful stories, and moving storytelling, across a broad spectrum of issues and perspectives.
Project: Catapult needed a website that could both feature their current projects and support their ever-expanding roster of talented filmmakers. We teamed up with Experience Lab (www.experiencelabpdx.com) to design and develop a website geared for growth and flexible enough to accommodate as much, or as little, information that individual filmmakers are able to provide.

Client: Alison O’Donoghue is a Portland-based contemporary folk artist. Her work features the playful next to the sinister, giving the paintings a sense of humor and the complexity of an unfolding story.
Project: For Ms. O’Donoghue, we designed a series of galleries, standardizing the widths of the artwork to give a sense of order to her vibrant, prolific output. The bottoms of the pages are populated by small New-Yorker-style people who calmly review the artwork displayed on the walls. Resize your browser window and the artwork readjusts to fit the new dimensions.
Connection: Alison and I used to practice kung fu together.
