Fat Tuesday has a whole new meaning for this !

After learning that had new ownership, I’d been dying to see if they lived up to the standard I’ve grown up loving for decades. We came in craving burgers, which tends to happen a lot to the people around me, and if the pictures didn’t give it away - we certainly were not disappointed. The new owner, Matt, and his brother, Mike, were both present and took phenomenal care of us from start to finish. The burgers? Excellent from top to bottom. Perfectly cooked patties, fresh produce, grilled bun (and onions!) for an all around classic diner burger that always hits the spot.

I’m so grateful to see one of my favorite spots still holding strong, and am proud to share this to keep their support going strong!

Sometimes, life gives you a sign. It just so happens that this sign says Tacos. This we are joining forces with to bring you .

I have been passing this place on SW Barbur Blvd for years, and somehow have never stopped by on a whim once the massive TACOS sign caught my eye. I got 3 tacos, one of each meat, for $9 total - which is insane considering I can’t find lunch anywhere for less than $20. All of the tacos were good but the pork (far right) was unbelievable, the first bite of that one alone had me wishing that’s how I got all 3.

The woman working the cart was so sweet and accommodating and my food was ready right away! I will definitely be coming back. Beyond the TACOS sign they are called Mamá Chio and I encourage you to stop by the next time you get a hankering for some quick, savory grub.
