Know your colors!

Utility markings follow a standardized color code to identify different types of underground utilities. For example, red indicates electric power lines, yellow marks natural gas, oil, or petroleum, and blue shows potable water lines.

Understanding these colors helps you dig safely and avoid damaging essential services.
