It is always this time of year, just about summer when the blues festivals begin that i FEEL a sharp pain knowing that no where will i see that big smile of Guitar Shorty, or see him playinig his guitar...or hearing his voice. It is lonely in this world with him not in it. I miss his excitement when he released a new album, he couldn't wait to get out on the road to tour it. Gone are the days of us chatting for hours about music on the phone, and hearing him play a few notes on his guitar, or play his entire cd on the phone before it is released to everyone else. I was a friend and he was my best friend and I miss him forever.
