Have you ever experienced the death wobble or tank slapper on your bike? It's scary as hell, or worse, and can easily cause you to crash. Some manufacturers sell parts to avoid it somewhat for a lot of money and the rider community is very split between about a hundred different things to do when it happens.
I found this video, while it's slightly outdated, the facts it shows are not, as physics doesn't age.
