Pretty fun to watch the Glaucus-winged Gull plunge into the mighty Columbia to yank out a hefty bug snack.
Too big for one bite, it flew to shore, took out its flip phone, said “phone eats first,” snapped a photo, then tore it in twain and ate it in two big gulps.

I've watched wizard of oz every night for the last two weeks.
My daughter is the Robot (Tin Man), Wife is Dorothy, but I've been informed I can't be the Yellow Brick Road.

Turqoise-browed Motmot are definitely worth ogling
I love that their tail feathers are called rackets.
I love them. I hope some day I get to see all of the motmots.
