Pacific Overhead Door

Field trip! We had the pleasure of hosting Creston Elementary’s 2nd Grade here at our shop. They learned how to build a traditional wood garage door section from scratch, drill & route window openings, cut glass, make custom springs, and how a forklift works. Their energy was great to have in the building - so curious and eager - the next generation is looking bright - thanks for inspiring us!

Born from a customer’s request nearly 30 years ago: “can you create an overhead door that looks like my old swinging carriage doors that need to be replaced?” So we got to work using what we had at the time—panel door materials—and created an arrangement that has all the charm of a traditional swinging carriage door, but with the functionality and convenience of an overhead door. That was in the Irvington neighborhood. From there we’ve created several different models based on motifs unique to the neighborhoods that our customers requested them from.
