Happy Hour Flowers is a monthly outdoor event series presented in partnership between Candy’s and Cocktail MARY, Equality Community Center, Free Plants Maine, and Snell Family Farm. Join us Wednesday July 7 from 5:30-7:30p in the lot at 58 Brown Street (behind 511 Congress) for a lovely little evening of joy and community. Gift each other plants—bring some, give and/or take some with you. No tickets, registering, or monitoring plants: just take home what you’ll love. Sip on some tasty plant-inspired cocktails and mocktails! Enjoy performances by our faves @ New Fame! Celebrate each other! And raise funds for Maine People's Housing Coalition!

Dipping a toe back into social situations can be rough. We’ll have a fidget table to help with that thanks to Raise-Op Housing Cooperative! ❤

This event is all ages and free, but donations are encouraged and will all benefit our friends at People’s Housing Coalition, whose emergency mutual aid work includes helping unhoused people secure short-term shelter, medical needs, or transportation, and they’re also working on funding a mobile shower project for unhoused people in Portland. Cocktail Mary will also be donating proceeds from cocktails and mocktails.

Masks will be required outdoors for anyone who is unvaccinated, and for everyone who pops ins ide to use the bathroom.

Can’t make it, not comfy with being at a gathering, or not attending for other reasons but would like to participate? Stop by Candy’s resource library hours (Thursdays 8:30a-11:30a and Fridays 1-3p) if you’d like to drop off or pick up plants. Just give us a shout on Discord, FB or IG ahead of time! Donate to any time, one time or recurring to help support our unhoused and housing insecure neighbors. And join us on Discord for plant chat and so much more, link in bio ❤
